Time to talk BREWERS!!!!

Yeah I know baseball is ruined and ther Brewerw are almost as severly hampered by Princess Prieb as they are the lack of revenue sharing, but Im still excited. I am probably crazy but I think the Crew should be .500 this year and if Sheets, Wright, Quevedo, and Nuegebaur pitch up to their potential and we dont swing at everything, I think the crew can win 90 and be in the wild card race late, which is something we havent seen in a long, long time. They must finish over .500 to avoid 10 years straight of losing seasons. I think it is time for a coup to remove Princess Prieb.

Nice retrospective on the last month, Dude. Going back even farther, its been fun to be a fan the last several years. Putting it in perspective, I remember most of the 1970's being terrible teams winning 70 games a year. A lady friend i used to go to the games with back then had her favorite chant: "Let's Go, Bummers" . We got a lot to appreciate now.
Pretty impressive turn around and almost mirrors last year when the team got hot late May and never looked back. Still a long season and team has to get thru these pitching injuries. Have not seen who is going tonight. Good to see Turang break out of his mini-slump and now is the time of year when Chourio has heated up his first two years in MLB. Still curious why they have not bought any one up for 3B (or SS).?? Of course still trust in Murph/Arnold to make the right moves.
Seen numerous reports about the Crew being an option for Skubal. Certainly, have the assets for the Tigers and know it would be a 2-3 month rental (like Sabathia). Team does not like to give up prospects, so we will see.

Fun look back on the last month of Brewers baseball. 1 month ago Brewers were in last place in the division. May 18th, face the 1st place Cubs, 1.5 games back. Through June 2nd, Brewers are in first place, and 6.5 games up on both Cubs and Cards. That’s one heckuva month. The Brewers are 18-6 since May 4th, the last day they were in last place in the division.
Agree the imbalance between the AL/NL is strange. Certainly the NL is much deeper now. Good “w” last night. Hope they kept some offense for today. 😎 Right now Murph has to keep Vaughn/Bauers on the field together. Vaughn up to .354avg. with a .425 On Base %. Good to see Sal get some hits and we need him to heat up. Either Sal or Mitchell is the odd man out if we play Bauers in the OF. Also need to keep Hamilton in the line-up at SS. Plays good defense and of course is getting on base more than Ortiz.
Can someone explain to me how Uribe was given a 1 game suspension for his stupid gesture to the Cardinals but PCA got no suspension for what he said to a fan? IMO, what PCA said was far worse than Uribe's gesture. Also seems worse to be taunting a fan vs. the other team. What do I know?
See Zastryzny was activated from the IL and Koenig had a good first outing at Triple-A. Both are LH guys for the Bullpen and would be great to get them back (especially Koenig). Starting rotation still a work in progress as Hook/Murph work thru the injuries. Patrick, Crow, Drohan, Sproat will all get shots filling out the rotation the next 2-3 weeks.
Another nice game. The month of May has been awesome. I figured if we did well in May, we would play in October. My wife is watching tennis. French Open. She said BA is one of the announcers. What? I have not watched much so far. Just radio. So I listen. Yep, sounds like BA. Tennis must pay more than the Brewers. Keep it going, Crew!
