Time to talk BREWERS!!!!
3/30/02 @ 9:29 AM
Yeah I know baseball is ruined and ther Brewerw are almost as severly hampered by Princess Prieb as they are the lack of revenue sharing, but Im still excited. I am probably crazy but I think the Crew should be .500 this year and if Sheets, Wright, Quevedo, and Nuegebaur pitch up to their potential and we dont swing at everything, I think the crew can win 90 and be in the wild card race late, which is something we havent seen in a long, long time. They must finish over .500 to avoid 10 years straight of losing seasons. I think it is time for a coup to remove Princess Prieb.

That was a wild game. Drohan has not been as effective over the few weeks as earlier in the year. Still need some of the back-end guys to step up and pitch well down the stretch. BP solid again. Good to see Turang respond with a big game. Seems like either Pratt or Lara (sometimes both) have a big hit or defensive gem every game
Oops, I put Tuesday. Should be Monday. I think teams play with the mound to get in the mind of the Miz. Keep on commenting, guys. I like reading your thoughts. And....GO CREW GO. Oh, Chi, I will not have a JD till Monday. Then I will enjoy a few with the games. One of my favorite rivalries of baseball on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
That series had a little bit of everything. On the plus side Henderson was great again tonight and went a full 7 innings. Give credit to PCA on his HR, that ball was low and out of the strike zone. Henderson seems to be actually getting stronger as the season goes on. He would be a #1 guy on many MLB teams.. Saw a stat that only Ohtani and Melton have a lower ERA for MLB starters since Henderson made his first start last year.
Concerning Turang, it sure seems like that knee is still bothering him. He came up limping running the bases against the Rangers and as Carp noted, seemed to be in discomfort again last night. Maybe rest is what he needs, but I trust Murph to make the right call. We all remember Chourio struggles in July/early August and Murph did not move him out of the top of the order and he has responded. .I remember Contreras batting 5th or 6th for a couple of games but Murph pretty much kept him in the 3rd/4th spot during his slump and he has responded (.377 over last 15 games).
Reds up next and they will be no cake walk. Their rookie Stewart is having a great year and leads the NL in RBI's (105) and has 31 HR's. They have some other great young stars (De La Cruz, Chase Burnes etc). Keep winning series..Go Crew!!

Time for a Jack and coke. Not a win, but it kept my interest. I also don't get why Murph keeps guys in the top of the lineup when they don't perform. I also don't get how he can turn this team into a first place team. I never saw this team being over 500. Heck, just happy leaving with a split. Looking forward to Tuesday. I know the cub fans will be worrying all Holiday weekend. LOL. Now, some JD for a treat. Cubs fans, keep worrying. 🤣😂😇
