gobbler here in Platteville we have 3 KT and they are generally 5-10 cents higher than the 3 small independents.
If fuel prices drop it's usually 1-2 weeks before you see it here. I have seen it where it's 20-40 cents difference 30-40 miles away for weeks.
They pretty much have the market and set the price here in Platteville.

Everyone talks about price gouging oil companies and retail gas stations. I can name hundreds of items that are bigger gougers than fuel related businesses. KT is one of the worst to keep fuel prices high and yet they are the busiest stations around. Boycott them just like the Casinos. JMO
Before the conflict with Iran began in late February 2026, the average price of regular gas in Wisconsin was approximately $2.50 to $2.57 per gallon. In localized areas like Green Bay and the Fox Cities, prices were even lower, hovering around $2.46 to $2.55 per gallon prior to the escalation.
But I actually think you knew that ......it was only 4 months ago

If you tracked cost of just about any item that American's consistently use out of necessity on a daily basis, you'd find similar trends. It's just easy to track changes in gas since it's posted on a big sign up front.
What was the cost of gas before the war started? I can't even remember.

for the past 50 years there have been periodic and hysterical predictions of gas going to $10 within the next few months. Care to guess why it didnt happen? The Open Secrets article explains why it didnt happen
for 50 years perpetual whiners have claimed that oil companies have been adding water to the gasoline we buy because there is a certain process in the oil industry known as "watering down". Does anyone really think there is water in your gasoline? Yet there are some who accuse oil companies of adding water to gasoline for the sake of lower gas mileage and higher profits.
