I finally finished redoing my pond and it is flourishing, lots of frogs/polliwogs, I even had a turtle use it for home for about a week and then she moved on.

Instead of putting waiters on every time I wanted to clean the pump I moved the pump close to the side of the pond, now I can just reach over and clean it, no more sliding around  in the pond trying to clean the pump.
And some flowers from the front yard not all in blew me up but it still looks pretty.

Nice clematis IQ! - curious, do you trim right down to the ground in fall or do you only partially trim back?

When choosing a hibiscus, always choose yellow that way if the leaves die and turn yellow, it looks like you have more flowers!

These BADLY need to get outside but i just haven't had room to move them to outside yet. Too many vegetables to get rid of first. I might try to find some room anyhow so I can get these planted. ASAP. Man those tall, skinny ones (which i have no idea what they are other than they came from a wildflower mix) sure took off fast once I transplanted them! The Zinnias too are getting huge!

Nice looking ponds. Worth all the work.

I stopped at a popular Amish run greenhouse Saturday looking for somethings. It was busy and they didn't have what I wanted. Driving along I noticed another greenhouse with nobody at it. I stopped, got what I wanted and went to pay and got the sticker shock. Mind you I'm used to going to the urban retail stores. $11.25 for everything I wanted. Nobody to fight with. People were awesome. Selection was incredible. For sure will be buying the rest of my plants there if these do well.

After my surgery I walk like a Weeble anyway so it was really tough for me, I must have came close to falling at least 15 times, slippery as snail snot. My legs were so tired I had to walk out of my pond on my hands and knees to get over the edge. I think I'm going to have to hire some Amish boys to take care of this for me next year.
But I am almost finished couple more rocks on a small pond and I'm done.

Thanks for the compliments guys and gals.
Westfield I have to fill with the city water.
Also be careful in there Westfield so you don't slip and fall. I clean mine up in the fall and spring it's mostly leaf litter that way not much muck,  just two sloppy wet wheel barrows full of leafy mess to the compost.

Nice water features. Ice queen, Westfield, and once bitten. I am interested in doing this at my house too, have to decide if I want to stay here or bail out though. … Illinois taxes are too high. Net

You have an awesome Pond is that water coming in from a natural water source or do you have to fill it up.
Here's a picture of my pond.
I started cleaning my pond yesterday it's been a couple years because of my back issues. It's a big job getting all that sludge out of the bottom of the pond. But I'm almost ready to fill it up, I have to rearrange some rocks and I should be good to go.
