I’m in the 170’s camp too I think.  Net is a bit nonsense to me too. Sure a big typical is cool, but add junk and it’s much more cool.  Why would you not reward that?  You don’t get too many chances to chase a deer of that caliber on the properties I hunt, so that would definitely make the season more fun.  Hope to see him in your hands and find out 170 was an underestimate.

Gross 180", in my opinion. I counted over 14 points and his left side carries lots of mass all the way through. I have certified 155" 10 pointers on my wall and your buck in the picture is way bigger.

Gross score is the only score I go by. Net score is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. The thought that a wild animal should be 100% symmetrical is beyond stupid.

No doubt that deer is north of 160" gross.  Might even tickle 170".  He is a dandy, no doubt.

160+ no doubt. Nets are for fishing...

Absolutely north of 160! Beautiful mature buck...would love to see you wrap your hands around his rack.

I agree with LB.  A stud for sure and a little extra character for good measure.  Without deductions it would be north of 160.

most guys,  no one cares about deductions.

usually people grossly over- score something.  120's are 140's,  well I think that buck has great mass and beams, lot's of tines,  he's 160s+ easy.  I'll give $10 for every inch under 160 gross...and take a $1 for every inch over...

That definitely a stud

That looks well beyond 145-150” to me.  Looks to me like that one has almost everything, tines, mass, some width, good beams, good brows, and some junk to boot.

Cool rack hockey guy. Lots of deductions but could be 145 to 150 there before the deductions.

One from the hit list lol. Any estimates?

Hoping to get a clearer pic of a big one on another lot. The one we have is a bit blurry, but I could swear every tine was a crab claw

Any guesses on scoring this guy I shot in Brown county.  Take a guess at the age too.
