2023 gun season

Brother in law got a nice 10 around 4:15 opening day. Came in a minute or two behind a doe. Those were the only two deer he saw all day. Only two deer for the entire group that cuts them up together, and the other was in a neighboring county. Really slow weekend with far fewer shots than normal. I almost forgot I was gun hunting a few times lol

Came in with his girlfriend around 8 yesterday. Public land buck. Western WI.

I got a good size doe this morning and my uncle got a big body small rack 8pt this morning. I've seen quite a few deer, but they're just not moving much. There are still a ton of acorns everywhere and the deer don't have to go far too eat. Marquette County
