That's crazy sometimes the knockoff brands are better than the others I guess. I happened to get lucky menards has a sale right now for energizer max. 9.99 for 24pk so I grabbed them up to try.

AO,  I run 6 cameras and have all but given up on the coppertop's because when I load them into the camera it shows that they are not at full power. I am now running Kirkland by Costco and so far am very happy. Cheaper than the coppertop and made by Duracell. Go figure!

I run browning cams also that take 8 AA not only fo these cams take exceptional pictures but I also get a yr or more of battery life.  At around 100bucks a pop I am very happy with them

Been using trail cams since they 1st came out, back when you used 35mm film. Looks like I got the 1st pic of a badger in all these years. About 200 yards from my house.

Cool sounds good. It would be month before I get back up north and don't want to miss out on hopefully valuable pics because the battery I chose lol.

I run two Brownings, both with alkaline AAAs.  I honestly am somewhere around a year on these batteries.  One read 47% and one 54% when I checked them the other day.  Crazy!

AO, regular batteries will get you by for a month.  I use regular batteries and they last from July to New Years.

I know it's more of a picture thread but Anyways....I don't use trail cams as often as some. Looking for some advice on batteries. Plan on having some cams out for about a month or so and wanted opinions on what battery to use. Do i need lithiums or can I get away with a good alkaline like energizer. I just use plain old moultries and browning's for night and day pics only. 1 takes AA and one Cs

Suggestions plz
