About 90% of my pics are now night movements. Pic from this past Wednesday night. Buck chasing. Crummy running pic but nice to see the chase has started.

My uncle just reported a few mature buck daylight pics as well.  Things should really be picking up with the big coldfront coming through in the next few days.  I'm heading out Fri-Sun.

The testosterone must be ramping up!  I've also noticed some of the older bucks starting to test the waters.

Our camera's blew up the last 3 days.. we had a day walker at 5:45pm on Monday night that's a 145" 10... last night had 5 different bucks hitting micro plots (all at night) but all go over 130".. seem to be ramping up. All of these bucks were here in the summer and left once the acorns drop, hopefully they stick around! Any one else see an uptick in movement recently?

Hank,  we had 2 fight for 30min on Oct 4th!  Then 20 min after they were done the pig on the block showed up.  He must have been search for the fight hard,  looks out of breath!

I use Ray-O-Vac rechargables and they last 2-3 months with no issue, even through the winter.  Saves me a TON of money over the course of a year.

I use Moultrie cameras and they have a port for an external battery. The chord cost is about $10, I use a ammo box $10 and my batteries from my vexilar. I’ve had them out since July and all of my cameras are still at 100%. I get about 500 pictures a week.
