Tough to find fish during May fly hatch. Boat landing really bad as lake at near record high level. Bring hip boots.

This lake seems to be a very forgiving lake. I have ice fished this lake twice now, and the first time i walked to the north end and caught 4 pike from 18" up to 30". the second time i went out was at night from 9 till 12 i was targeting eyes, but didnt no where to start. i had heard people were catching eyes on a hum near the lakes bottle neck, but i didnt catch a single eye. regardless of the lack of eyes i still managed to catch 2 rock bass,...go figure, ha. I would have gave this late a solid 5 star if i could find the eyes. if anyone has any info on walleye fishing on this lake please let me no. needless to say i really like this late, and will continue to fishin this late hard till i find those eyes.
