I find the review below me to be amusing. Phantom lake is indeed a very good largemouth bass lake. There are good numbers of large bass in this lake. Phantom is just a difficult lake to figure out. If you figure it out the lake can be a blast to fish. I fish the wednesday night tournaments every week during the summer and if you dont have a fish over 18 inches your odds are slim to be in the money which pays out 4 places. Ice fishing is also a different story, you can catch northern in the 24-31 inch range frequently. But for largemouth bass ice fishing is the best time, i believe, to catch a monster. Overall this lake is my home town lake and i love to fish it plain and simple.
