Water temps will fluctuate a lot this time of year. Simply not going to be the same temps day to day. This Saturday, being 80 will bump them up quickly.
Was out a week ago, had temps 50-53. Some nice cabbage already popping. Caught about 50 gills, perch and bass combined. Thickest weeds held the fish. Nothing really up tight. Biggest bass panfishing was 17” Smallie.

FYI west end boat ramp open saw a boat out--open water to just east of the condos--that boat had a dude water skiing.
Feel bad for the folks on the south east side of the lake, with the wind tonight they could get some damage from the ice. Thinking all the ice will be out by the weekend if not before.
Vegas is that muskie meeting tonight ?
Thanks
Rangerpaul

No report...apologies.
But, with the lake opening up many of us are gearing up for another year of musky fishing.
Milwaukee Muskies Inc will be having Steve Heiting in to give us a great talk about catching more muskies.
You've probably heard of him, he's a member of the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame, renowned guide, managing editor of Musky Hunter magazine for 27 years and he's hosted many Musky Schools, just to name a few of his accomplishments.
If you are into muskies, you will want to be at his seminar.
When: Tomorrow night, February 27.
Where: Machine Shed
Time: 6:30 ish PM (though we hope to get him speaking earlier)
Cost: Free
The club will be raffling off some lures and a rod prior to the seminar, feel free to come early to grab a bite to eat and take part in the seminar.
