Silver Lake

It was a cool day and with the crystal clear water getting bass to hit was not the easiest and during the day it was mostly wacky rig action, but
when it started to get dark that's when the bigger bass come out to play and will recklessly hit top water lures :-)

Ice looks white (soft? ). Maybe 6 inches of it. Starting to get sketchy. I was out last week in the small kettle and there was wide holes opening up. If you go, go with someone and bring the equipment needed to check the ice while walking out. I was just at the landing and checked. 

Polarbear 47, how is the shoreline and ice depth in general holding up?

I fished from 9am- 12pm no flags.
