Been fishing this lake for 15 years. The largemouth action with BIG fish used to be great. This is an electric motors only lake but someone keeps stealing the sign. The last couple of years I've seen a change from the occasional canoe and small row boat to trophy sized boats and lots of them. Someone must have opened their mouth and told the world the largemouth fishing was great. It is kind of fun to watch an couple of guys try to launch a 16-18' boat from the very shallow landing. last time I fished it we were only getting fish in the 10 - 12" range. I guess it's been fished out. Please practice catch and release in these small wonder lakes or they will all end up like our dying lake Shannon. Contrary to it's sign I have never caught a trout!! It's worth stopping by to see the loons. They are VERY tame and will come right up to you but don't bother them please.
