Fished this chain for 12 years now. We call Pokegama "Poky" because of the weak fishing the last few years. Small walleye are the usual with an occasional small muskie when jigging. Nice lake for sight seeing but if you're hunting eyes or muskies there are much better choices nearby. Not sure how this lake/chain is being managed but the fishing has declined big time.

it's great for crappie and blue gill . usually fish two mini-mites on ultra light. find standing weeds off shore and get ready for some great eating.

2003 was great for me a Pokegama Lake. I was able to fish the lake for a total of 10 days during the spring and summer.
Bass fishing was always productive. Walleye could be sporadic at time but my log says I logged 59 lbs. A few northern of decent size, but my real thrill was the 41 inch, 28 lb tiger muskie I "accidently" caught while bass fishing.
The water is clean and clear, the scenery is beautiful, and the amenities are outstanding.

This is a nice, clear lake with good potential for all species. Caught a nice northern by the trout stream, had a monster musky blow up on a surface lure along shoreline timber.
