I would like to know if the old man or granpa was ever caught if its still there im sure its close to 6 foot long a record of course or close to it! And yes the boulders and the dock areas are key musky haunts !

Yes sir loaded with a few behomoth musky and yes my father had a lunge to the boat that was way over 50 in on a mepps 5 musky killer it hung out of the musky net and cut my fathers 50lb cortland line as my granpa struggled to hold the fish i was 14 i am now 42 .RIP Joe Casey the legend of eagle river. This is no bs story i saw that monster they called it granpa and several locals know of the fish................

Great lake to fish. Fish the cribs and brush along the shore for perch and eyes. My only dissapointment was that you'll need to do some sorting of the walleyes before you can get a keeper

A decent lake for esox, and during ice fishing w/ tipups for eyes. There's a huge legendary esox in here the locals refer to as the "Old Man". Friend who had a cottage here saw it and its 60"+.
