I too used to live on this Lake. The chain is awesome to navigate. The Muskie and walleye fishing is the best. Find The Sandbar about 50 yards from the inlet from middle Gresham along that sandbar in the evening produces many walleye on leeches. Hello Charlie Spencer an old friend from the 1980s

Lots and lots of average largemouths(10-15"), some decent gills, a few nice crappies, and some hard to find walleyes, smallies, muskies and pike. Tons of little panfish as well, but supposedly a good lake to try and catch a bigger musky. Boat traffic is getting worse every year during the summer months.

I wouldn't classify this lake as excellent but there are a few nice walleyes, some decent perch and hard to find crappies that can be big. The bass in this lake will take you by surprise. Largemouths. The spring bite is tough. Walleyes bite at night and dawn. During the day it's tough. On a good day it's perhaps a four!

I live on the Gresham Chain. All three provide excellent fishing opportunities. The fall musky action is out of this world.
