PS. there are no brook trout, sturgeon, or smallmouth. There may have been trout a long time ago. The lake is too shallow for smallmouths, and definitely no sturgeon

Igrew up on this lake. it eas poisoned out in about 1964. it was planted with bass bluegill, perch, and bullheads. sometome in the early 1970's the DNR stocked alot of tigers. then a guy who's parents lived on the lake and his father in law threw some northerns in. The bass fishing used to be great, but now the biggest Ive seen is about three pounds, and they all have bite marks. there are however some huge tigers left. The last I heard the biggest was around 48"-50". there is no public lake access anymore. the guy who put the northerns in bought the old campground and closed off the access that was there. So basically it is a totally private lake, but is now loaded with northerns.
