good lake for crappies and blue gills both take minnows and jigs. Occasional northern and small perch. Try to get on the water very early like 5:00 am, as soon as it starts to get light the fishing shuts down. There is a small channel in the northeast corner that goes back to another small lake called Pearce lake if you can get back there it also has crappie bluegill and bass.
