this lake is suppose to be a decent lake to fish, but it didn't live up to that. Went all day without a fish on. Would not recommend.

Was out on Blaisdell in mid January 2012 and caught 5 Muskies, all were around 25"-35". Caught a handful of Bluegills. We were the only ones out on the lake that weekend, place was a ghost town. Will be back for sure. The Muskellunge were caught with fat minnows on tip ups. Be careful on shorelines, I had one leg fall through as it's kind of marshy on the northern end of the lake and the was some air pockets. Had soaked boots all weekend long, not a good way to start things.

The weeds are ridiculous. Most of the year its like fishing a dead river as it is choked with wild rice. The muskies that are here are VERY SMALL, as the lake has been fished out of much of the forage, especially crappies. Agree with previous posters, plenty of other lakes to find good muskies, smallmouth and crappies in the area.
