Fished Sunday from the Yak. On at 9am, off by 2pm. Alot of other Yak's on the water as well. I caught 3 bass and lost 3. All caught fish were on Rapala stick bait in 6ft. The 3 losses were on Senko while drifting also in 6ft. Fished were definitely scattered and I did not see any definable beds in the shallows. Talked to 2 other Yak's that said their fish came in 10ft of water.
Talked to several people who basically had the same results. To my fellow Yakkers', good luck in the tourney this weekend.
Water temp was 55 to 57.

Was out from 0830-1000 yesterday looking for panfish. Seeing the livescope decided to not want to work it was back to the old way of scouting for tournaments, punch and camera. I check weed beds from 6fow to 15. Didn’t see a single panfish but did find a small school of bass and walleyes hanging out together in 12fow just outside the weeds. This is starting to look like last ice season where the gills and crappies went mia. I’m guessing they are either in a foot of water or way out in the basin.

Got the ol Polaris 570 chained up and hit the lake der today. Got maybe three good hours of fishing in before I hads to wrap er up. Got me one pike on the jig pole as soon as I dropped the first line in and, by golly that was it for catchin. No pan fish or nothin. Too darn cold to be moving around outside so I just sat with the heater on in the shack and had a nice time catchin/markin nothing.
I was out on the lake 8/18 also. We had two line breakers and caught 1 snake northern. Thinking it was teeth of Northerns that broke the line. After 10-11 am there is so much pontoon, jet ski and speed boat action it is very hard to fish. Also it seems like all boating rules are out the window, no courtesy what so ever. I see the Police on the lake but it doesn't seem they enforce much.
