The Pixley Flowage is one of the best kept secrets in the Northwoods. We vacationed there in late July 2010 and the smallmouth action was great we caught multiple 4 pounders and plenty of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 pounders. My son caught his personel record along with the father-in-law both 20" inchers in the 4 pound range. Muskie action was good enough to keep me interested.
