we caught many little gills and perch you had to pick threw the small ones we ended up with around 30 fish. we went up there around easter. stayed in sayner at a cabin and drank a few brews had a blast.

went with some buddys here end of dec '04 lots of caught about 30 pike about half were legal about an eighteen in bucketmouth and about a 10 inch perch. key is you gotta fish about a 500ft south of the big island there is a big weed bed in that area. good luck and tight lines

This is a better lake then "stunted gills and small walleyes" I would have to agree with the four, on a good day! It still stands in the shadows of it's sister. But if you look hard enough you can tell they are related.

This is a good ice fishing lake. Lots of weed cover in the summer, provides good forage for fish in the winter. From the ramp fish the bay for large mouth on tip ups or Northerns in the far east bay. I caught 25 northerns in 4 hours, on tip ups!
