Right now the crappie size structure is minimal. Lots of 6-8 fish. Pike fishing has dropped off on the chain.. Gills also down in size and numbers ..perch are hard to come by of any size .. Musky is good .. Walleye should improve in coming years with the new 15 inch size limit in place..over all the chain has gone down in quality compared to 5 years ago.. I live on here and fish it regularly . So I see what is going on, folks need to practice more on the releasing of bigger panfish to help invrecovery

I have to say that this lake is the best night fishing musky lakes (June-Sept) I have ever come across. I have had more action on loud topwaters! Now, mind you...it is a more difficult catch ratio since they cannot see the lure very well, but my advise to everyone is to Night Fish on Dam lake at least once in their lifetime. You may need a valium for those boatside strikes, but after you stop shaking, you'll smile for WEEKS!
