Spring fishing is great: bass, bluegills & northerns.
Many skiers, tubers, & PWC, thinking they own the lake. They seem to like to bother canoes, pantoons and fishermen.
Muskie sun themselves in 2-3 FOW in the spring. Crescent holds some very big boyz and girlz. You'd be surprised.
Walleye run on the small size 11-13" with occacional 15-16" fish.
Perch are in the weeds near the landing and Wausau bay, but must be sorted.
Crappies are very active in the spring around the cribs and brush, average size 9-13".
Muskie prefer the pink bulldawg and rip-it, along with a large white Mepps bucktails, be ready to figure, since Crescent will yeild many follows.

Recent climb in northern population, indian spearing, and high fishing pressure have hurt walleye population. Panfish easy to catch. Big crappies and jumbo perch but few and concentrated. Big Muskies present but have seen every type of bait. Fish Emma Lake portage for smaller muskies and northerns.
