good lake to try in late spring try the sand flats for the 'gills with a mini-mite or small tubes in shallow weeds

Hit or miss- caught nice crappie at times, at other times got skunked. I'd look for a better lake to fish. If in the area, try Kelly-if it's not overrun by boaters and jet skis.
