I stayed at one of the two resorts on this lake and I was surprised at the pressure this little lake gets. I would go so far as to call this lake overused, maybe abused. In a 4 hour stretch I counted 24 different boats, some skiing, mostly fishing. Only 4 of the boats were under 40 horses and many were over 100hp andthey werent hesitant about letting everyone know it.

Time for a 2014 update. Despite being 20 miles from the nearest town this small lake gets a lot of pressure from local resort tournaments, jet skis, 175 HP ski boats plus hundreds of snowmobiles each day during the winter, as the snomo trail goes right across the lake. Several other lakes in the area are much quieter, more relaxing and easier to fish.
