My father in law and I tried this lake late June and were extremely disappointed with the fishing. The water was green like grass (Algae Bloom) with zero visibility and after spending 4.5 hours on the lake catching nothing but tiny perch we called it a day. We fished for everything from pan fish to large mouth and nothing. The lake is a beautiful lake but produced nothing. Lake also had two aerators on it which brings into question about the lake freezing out and minimal fish species.
