Marshmiller Lake

Heard through the grapevine (didn't see for myself so don't quote me) that Marshmiller is completely wide open. No ice in sight. Pretty crazy considering how solid the ice was prior to the warm up and rain.

Ice is still good everything firmed back up with the cold but personally I wouldn't be driving 3 hours to fish with 40 other guys. Plenty of other good lakes in the area. Don't get me wrong you'll catch fish but I've noticed the quality has really went downhill in the last 3 years

Any updates on current ice conditons after a few days of cooler weather? Thinking of making the 3hr drive up to fish, but don't want to waste my time if ice is unsafe.

Same report for us on Sunday, got out for a few hours in the afternoon with the kiddo. Kept 14 mostly gills and missed 1 flag. Not much for flags from anyone. Bite really picked up around 415, which is when we were leaving.

New owners at Cedar Point this year, make sure to stop in and buy a drink or some food so they keep allowing us free access and music on the ice!
