Musky,  if you arent kidding.  yes at 60mph.   The correct answer is no.  Very close to shore on the point is the only safe spot.   Avoid the middle you will get wet. 

Coming up this weekend to fish.   Can you take a snowmobile across the channel between north and south?

Hey Bash. I just saw your report or I would have replied earlier. We had the same luck up there with a lot of small perch and some larger follow ups, but nothing huge. I appreciate the pin that you shared with me even though others on this page do not. It is starting to sound like one of the Madison pages in here!

We will be heading back to Coady’s again next year. Great time fishing and skiing with my kids and their friends and great scenery!

So it remained the same. Perch after perch. Nothing like the ones we caught last year. All smaller. Probably iced 130 but didn’t see an eye, a crappie, a northern, no bluegill!! Nothing. Tried to target bigger fish after all the perch. Struck out. No flags. Had a couple nice marks in 32’ FOW. No takers. Still an awesome trip. If I kept fish I would have filled the icebox. Always a good way to look at it. Posting some huge fish is nice too. Maybe next year.

Perch bite is on. Over 100 already but small. Nothing to be bragging about other than the number of them. 6” was the biggest. Ive caught slobs up here. I’ll find them!! No eyes yet. Ice is over 20” with about 15” of snow on top. Very tough travel! If I didn’t have the machine…. Forget about it! Be prepared to mush if your pulling.

The wife just signed off!! Room booked. Loading up. On the ice tonight baby!! Anywhere to steer clear of? Any current fishing reports would be awesome. I have fished this lake and have it all mapped out. Not asking for your personal hot spots!! Any information at all would be great. Bringing 4wheeler. Wheeler will be fine out there yes?
