Mr Walton.........I commend you on an honest fish report.  Very few fishermen Take the time.  Lake Link is becoming a site of information gatherers instead of information sharers.  BB

Was out today from the boat launch through the channel to lake lawn and the outlet.   From the launch to 300 yards outside the channel mouth was all at least 7 inches.   From there past the water tower, lake lawn, the outlet channel and the point was all 4.25" from shore to 30 fow.

Marked lots of smaller fish in 6 to 9 ft in weeds.   Anything over ~12" came in slooowww and spooked easily.  Spoons with heads, horizontal jigs with plastics, nothing got touched.   Fish were very slow and tentative this afternoon.

Set up from 415 to 545 in 10fow just outside a weed break.   450 to 520 had a dozen or so come though   Missed two and cut back the minnow head and got the 3rd.  1/8th cast master with orange glow back lightly charged

Well if by the inlet you mean in front of the boat launch - it was slow yesterday. I was marking fish on the flasher and only caught 1 - 2 inch bluegill. I heard of a few pike being caught there, but panfish bite was pretty bad and all small. I'm looking forward to when the south end has safe ice.

To the souls enduring it out there in the inlet, are the fish in there? Usually around this time in a normal winter the fish move out of there. Wondering with the warm weather if they’re still some fish in there. Any feedback would be appreciated

Hopefully heading out on the inlet Sunday. Haven't fished it in years. Any tips for us? We love right up the street now and are hoping to get our wives and 3 year old daughters out. As long as it isn't dangerously cold. Lol. But at least it's making ice! We have two pop up shacks and heaters. Do i just jig or can we get anything with tipups and minnows? Or try both? Just trying to prep. It's been about 4 years since I have gotten to hard water fish. I have missed it, but work/kiddo just didn't make it possible.
