Lakeside State Park

Featuring an exceptional panoramic view of Lake Ontario and contiguous fruit orchards and farms, Lakeside State Park, with its 274 campsites is a wonderful holiday destination for RV campers. Located off the Lake Ontario State Parkway, Waterport, New York, Lakeside State Park offers four miles of hiking and biking trails to visitors, as well as fishing opportunities, picnic grounds, playgrounds, and a disc golf course for both amateurs and professionals. If you visit the park in winter, you can enjoy cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.

The 18-hole disc golf course, commonly referred to as Shore Winds Disc Golf Course, is designed to be both challenging and engaging for amateurs and pros alike while providing absolutely the best scenic views of any disc golf course in the US. The course is available to campers all year round.

Facilities at the Lakeside State Park campsites include electric hookups for RVs, water fill-up stations, dumping stations and showers, while the park features pavilions, picnic tables, a playground, and playing fields, most of which are accessible to disabled visitors. The park has a maintenance garage close to the entrance.

As one of the five Great Lakes in the US, Lake Ontario is the only Great Lake that does not share a shoreline with the state of Michigan.
