WALLEYES ARE VERY SLOW GROWING AND SMALL FOR A LAKE WITH LITTLE FISHING PRESSURE. GOOD NATURAL REPRODUCTION IS EVIDENT.

Went through this lake while in the BWCA it was by far the best lake and I would recomend to anyone who goes up to here to stop and fish this lake. We caught 3 20+" smallies in a half hour around one point. We also got some decent pike in the upper 20's. Will definently be back to fish it.
