BLG ABUNDANCE WAS ABOVE THE NORMAL RANGE AT 79.5 PER TRAP NET LIFT, AND GROWTH RATES ARE BELOW STATEWIDE AVERAGES. FIVE CONSECUTIVE YEAR CLASSES OF BLG WERE SAMPLED AND YEAR CLASS STRENGTH APPEARS HIGHLY VARIABLE. TWENTY-SIX PERCENT OF THE BLG MEASURED WERE GREATER THAN SEVEN INCHES IN LENGTH.
