There IS a public access ramp on the south side of th larger part of the lake. There is a fair amount of traffic on weekends and holidays. The lake is full of panfish, many of witch grow quite large. Also not mentioned on the list of speices is bullhead and catfish. As it is an open lake, bring a boat with a motor because when the wind picks up it will drag your anchors.
