The lake level on 4/25 is 684'. Water temps are in the mid 50's. The docks are all in now.

Black Crappie - Fair: Fish rock bluffs or brush piles with bright jigs or minnows.

Channel Catfish - Fair: Trolling cutbait has been working on warmer days. There are some fish in the shallows as well.

White Crappie - Fair: Fish rock bluffs or brush piles with bright jigs or minnows.

Largemouth Bass - Fair: Fish shallow areas on warm days.

Black Crappie - Fair: Fish rock bluffs or deeper brush piles with bright jigs or minnows.

Channel Catfish - Fair: Trolling cutbait has been working on warmer days.

The lake level on 4/18 is 684'. The water has dirtied up with the rains and winds. The dock at Macbride State Park is in but the Corps docks on the lake are not yet.

White Crappie - Fair: Fish rock bluffs or deeper brush piles with bright jigs or minnows.

Black Crappie - Fair: Fish rock bluffs or deeper brush piles with bright jigs or minnows.

The lake level jumped up to 684.4' after the rains but is supposed to drop back to 683.6'. The dock at Macbride State Park is in but the Corps docks on the lake are not yet.

White Crappie - Fair: Fish rock bluffs or deeper brush piles with bright jigs or minnows.

Channel Catfish - Fair: Trolling cutbait has been working on warmer days.

Black Crappie - Slow: Fish bright jigs or minnows over deeper brush or rock ledges.

Channel Catfish - Slow: A few fish are being caught on cutbait in the upper end of the lake and some windblown flats.

The lake level is 384'. There are no docks in at this time.

As of 2/15, the lake level is 383.57'. The upper end of the lake is ice free and the wind is chewing up the remaining ice quickly.

All the ice in the Macbride District is unsafe.

As of 2/15, the lake level is 383.57'. The upper end of the lake is ice free and the wind is chewing up the remaining ice quickly.

Most lakes are all frozen over but the snow on top has made for uneven ice formation. Check conditions frequently as you go.

The lake is ice covered but there is a lot of snow insulating it. Ice conditions are extremely variable.

Some lakes have skim ice from day to day.

There is skim ice on the mid section of the lake.
