I fish Briggs Woods anytime I get a chance. It's convieniently located 2 miles outside of Webster City. I usually fish the west side of the lake. It's about 30 feet deep and there is alot of under-brush. This place has huge Crappie and catfish and average sized Bass. They say it's good for Walleye, but I have had no luck. Also, don't bother trying for pike or muskie bacuase they're non-existant here. I've had the best luck of Texas rigged Gulp! baits especially the fake chubs. Prepare for a lot of snags though. You will lose at least one lure.
