Black Crappie - Fair: Anglers report finding crappies north of the pontoon area in tree piles. The best bite was late afternoon using minnows.

Bluegill - Slow: Sorting is necessary for 7.5-to-8-inch bluegill.

Largemouth Bass - No Report:

Viking Lake has a good number of black crappie in the 8 to 10 inch size class with a smaller percentage of larger fish. Bluegill size will range from 7 to 8 inches.
