Rend Lake

Rend is low still but we are still catching fish in 6-12 fow on jigs. Hopefully we get this rain they are calling for tomorrow afternoon and night. Give us a call to schedule one of the few remaining days we have available for the spring spawn! 618-472-4763. 

The fish are biting on jigs fishing rocks in 10 to 12 foot of water. They are also biting in the stumps and on brush in 4 to 10 foot of water. I have a boat open for a few days in October and November. Give us a call to get in on the hot fall Crappie bites! 618-472-4763

What months are good for fall crappie fishing? 

The lake is at 409.35, that is about normal for this time of year. 

The bibs are Sitka Hudson bibs. 

Coming down next week. How high is water.   ...and I've been looking for rain gear.  But I seen on couple pitchers blow.  Some guy got a nice pair of camo bibs I like.  Wonder if someone could tel me what brand those are cause I like the look . Thanks for any help if anyone can 

It’s been like a roller coaster just like the weather. One day it’s good the next you have to work for them. Over all it has been decent but not extremely easy.

Does anyone know how the fishing has been with all these cold fronts we have been dealing with?

The crappie are going shallow and the buck brush bite is getting started and will get better with the warm temperatures predicted for this week. There are still crappie to be caught in 8-12 fow as well.
