I'm not sure how this lake is now, but I used to fish it frequently back in the 90s with my dad. We never caught much until one day we saw someone using minnows and they were catching loads of fish. The next time back we came armed with minnows and WOW. We caught slab crappies, yellow bass, largemouth bass and even one time saw a northern pike pulled out of there. The fish we were catching were of above average size. Last I heard was that only carp and catfish are left in there. In my youth, this pond was a legacy. I hope to try it again sometime.
