Pheasant season 2015

Jig: That's virtually the same thing you posted about a month ago when this thread started. So tell us Einstein, where do YOU hunt wild birds in WI? Or do you go to IA, ND, or SD every weekend? You sound like the guys that go to one of the above mentioned states once a year for 3 days and that makes them the Grand Poobah of all things pheasant. Please do us all a favor and go play with your little neighborhood friends until mommy calls you for supper.

Well, If what I was hunting were planted birds they sure got smart in a hurry!!!

Went out Sat and Sun. Also saw lots of hunters. No flushes but dog was on quite a few running birds we couldnt get up. Does anyone know if they are stocking this week or because of deer season they will not??

Went out saturday 11-15 and didn't flush any. I tried 3 spots in waukesha area and only heard shots go off once. There was lots of hunters out and with looking at trucks with kennels I'm sure most had dogs along with myslef. My dog ran nuts all day to not flush one. Great morning to enjoy nature... maybe should have went fishing haha. Good luck all.

Hunted at PHG in southeastern WI yesterday and saw 6 birds, shot one.....however fell in a tree and got caught in a branch!! I guess i fed the hawks

2 hour run in Footville and got the only bird I saw. Been a great season so far and the best hunting is on its way.

While the weather isn't the best running dogs mine have been on a tear lately. Have been 4x a week and haven't been skunked yet. Not seeing a lot of hunters out either.

No birds for me today. Dog was going bananas to come up on a field dressed carcass of a pheasant. Got me excited for nothing haha. Only thing of the day. Saw other guys shoot at one and miss. Public land in waukesha area
