Time to talk BREWERS!!!!

Yeah I know baseball is ruined and ther Brewerw are almost as severly hampered by Princess Prieb as they are the lack of revenue sharing, but Im still excited. I am probably crazy but I think the Crew should be .500 this year and if Sheets, Wright, Quevedo, and Nuegebaur pitch up to their potential and we dont swing at everything, I think the crew can win 90 and be in the wild card race late, which is something we havent seen in a long, long time. They must finish over .500 to avoid 10 years straight of losing seasons. I think it is time for a coup to remove Princess Prieb.

Well thanks to Apple TV, I didn't get to see the game, I can see the writing on the wall, Bally Sports contract is up after this year, and there bankrupt, so not looking good for seeing 150 plus Brewers games a year, in the future. Unless we want to pay several different companies. If Bally doesn't have the games next year, Charter Cable is toast at my home.
GT- I do agree with everyone about the comments on Turang. I know Murphy sat him because lefties have been going for the Marlins but I would still have him on the field.
Concerning the comments about Churio and "playing the best nine", I would still look at it differently. Turang had a good start to the season in 2023 but really was a liability at the plate the last 2-3 months (hitting under .200). He was not one of the "best nine" guys the second half of the season but the Brewers stuck with him and he received a lot of valuable experiences and "at-bats". Look how that patience is paying off in 2024. You want another example look at Bobbi Whit Jr. for the Royals. He had some tough times in 2022 when the Royals bought him up but they stuck with him all of 2022. He made a big jump in 2023 and this year he looks like a bona-fide All-Star who might be a MVP someday. Churio needs to be on the field (imo) and yes there will be growing pains.
This team is young and we are not serious contenders with our pitching staff. Have you seen the Braves team .or.. the Dodgers (best team money can buy ). heck the Phillies are playing better than anyone. Never thought we would be in 1st place for a week this year much less for most of April/May. I am still looking at this team more for "the future" and just want to see the young guys get playing time/experience.

Pat sat Turang and Bauers for the entire series because the Fish had 3 lefties starting. Left with Monasterio and Owen flippin' Miller starting. We complain about Weimer on the big-boy club, Miller is no better. He had that hot start last year, and that was IT. Bauers has the third best OPS in the NL in the last month and Turang has been playing well. Sit two of your hottest hitters for an entire series against an inferior team and lose the series. Very, very disappointing.
I too miffed by keeping a good hitting, base stealing, good fielding team leader on bench!
Turang a sparkplug that we need out there!
What about Churio? He’s the one to bench awhile. Can’t do anything but take first pitch, foul off second, and strikeout on third or fourth. His fielding always an adventure as well.
Understand he is young, but play your best nine!
