About 5 yrs ago on opening day gun I was hunting Tipler/ Long Lake area. I had a cow moose in the scope for 15 minutes or so. 1st wild moose I've seen! Really cool!
This year in the same general area I came across fresh tracks...nice to see

I did check a trail cam today about a 1/3 mile from where the moose were. I had the usual predators pics. Here is a wolf, bobcat and snowshoe hare.

Beertown, nice a bull.  I took screen shots out of my video I had (not the greatest).
A couple years ago I was watching 2 big bulls in Mn for about 45 minutes at about 175 plus yards in saplings. I tried to take pics off my phone through my scope but I just couldn’t pull it off and get a decent photo.

Pretty neat clueless. We had a moose come through in 2018 up the road, south of Eau Claire. Grabbed the wife and went to the neighbors to check it out. Fall of 2018. They are larger than you think, thats for sure!

You got me there. My intent was to poach both the cow and calf. Consider my plan foiled.

mskyadk - I wish you hadn't reminded us of that ugly incident...but it is true.

Don't post locations! Few years back one of tribe's killed the cow and left the calf for dead.

Just found some info on the guy who ripped out the rice on Dilley lake.He was fined $303.00 for not getting a permit to remove wild rice. The landowner reportedly agreed to restore the rice bed.You dont need a permit to remove other vegetation to create a navigable channel, but you do for wild rice.

NPike, yeah a cow and calf came through by our house yesterday. I was able to get a short video. I texted it too your co worker. Another neighbor got better video as they crossed the field.
First moose I have seen in Wi. Where I deer hunt northern Mn I have probably seen 15-20 including some dandy bulls that I was able to watch through my scope. I have also found a moose shed antler in Mn.
