The down south thread.

Well, when this hurricane moved in, been hard to even sit in the backyard and enjoy a cocktail. Wind is so strong. It is breaking the blades on my onion plants.

The weather here is close to normal...no.need to complain..it's nice 

Well, started warming up a little bit and got above freezing today here in the south. Might be nice of mother nature since it’s almost May.

Tulips are froze closed today. If they open up, I’ll post on the flower thread probably in a couple of weeks.

It’s so cold here the squirrels are migrating south. 

My daughter had a big tree go down in the front yard. She lives next to Lapham Peak state park.  Called thetown of Delafield thinking it was on public right of way. They came down and said it was 1 foot on her property.  12 inches.  Getting the chain saws out tomorrow., good thing she has a natural fireplace 

Well, we’re gonna need a little bit more rain if Noah’s gonna stay afloat for over 80 days!

When is gusting up to 35 here so they say looks a lot worse than that. Can’t do much good thing. I got the lawns fertilized early this morning. It was windy as it was.

Sun is out and pouring rain like I’ll get out. 

Beautiful day today down south enjoying a gimlet on this fine Thursday.

Good got another 3 inches of water sitting in the garden. We needed that though because the 6 inches previous probably wasn’t enough. We’re gonna try to fish the river tomorrow but it’s so high. I have no idea what we’re going to do. It looks like it’s the worst that I’ve seen in some 50 some years.

Snowing pretty good here again today. I’m going to have to bring down the Xmas decorations from the attic again 

Good snowing again today. We can use the moisture. 

Got the slides and skis ready to go! Not sure we’re gonna get enough to stick though.
