Tend to agree with you Ice Fish. Way to many men left on base but still got the one hit needed to get the win. Anyway on to Boston and a tough Boston club  who has not played very well either however we're in their house so hopefully we can win there also. Anyway SWEEEET SWEEEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn’t want to mention that IFB, but you’re absolutely correct. Cubs were 2 for 15 with RISP and had 10 runners LOB. That’s gotta get better and hopefully will.

Left way too many on base with 0 or 1 out and not productive outs.  Mostly tge iowa cubs on the team.  Good sweep but tough east roadtrip

Great game and sweep of the hated Sto’s. Another great outing for Assad. PCA with the game winning 2 run blast for his first Major League hit. 
On to Boston for a weekend series against the Red Stockings.

Get dem brooms out!  Nice series sweep!  Was worried CC would bring in Alzolay for the ninth.  Glad he didn't!

Bellinger on the IL with a fractured rib from running into the wall last night. PCA called up to replace him on the roster. They’re dropping like flies, but the Cubs have been doing well with so many missing pieces.
Taillon on the hill tonight. Let’s hope that missing Belli doesn’t hurt their run production.
