15th Annual Lake-Link March Madness Pool 2018

Once again, we have started an end of the season college basketball pool on cbssportsline.com for anyone who is interested. We have our own group webpage, complete with our own message board on the CBS Sportsline website.  

The pool is for bragging rights only, and no money will exchange hands. It's completely free to sign up and participate in the pool.

Rules are as follows:

 • Contestants will pick the winners of each bracket game after they are announced.

 • Points will be awarded for each correct pick.

• Round 1 = 1pt
• Round 2 = 2pt
• Sweet 16 = 3pts
• Elite 8 = 6pts
• Final 4 = 9pts
• Championship = 12pts

 • Tie break will be the TOTAL SCORE of the championship game. Meaning the total number of points scored by both teams in that game.

 • All picks and everything associated with the pool can be done online on our pools personal website, including LIVE scores while the games are being played.

You have to register (for free) on the cbs sportsline website from the link that will be emailed to you to be able to access the pool website. If you have any trouble doing so, let one of the managers know and we'll do our best to get you all straightened out.

 Once registered, please change to your Lake-Link handle on the pool website so we all know who is who.

 HOW TO CHANGE YOUR NAME IN THE STANDINGS TO YOUR LL HANDLE: Go to the 'Options' tab, then select 'Personal' and then change 'Your Name' to your LL handle.

 If you were in last year, you don't need an invite to join this year. You are automatically carried over into this year.

If you're new to this and want in,  use LL messenger to  send me an email address an invite can be sent to.

JJ - If you don't have your password, and no longer have that email address, then you'll need to create a new CBS Sports account with your new email address and then request an invite to future pools (NFL next)...

Nobody picked Michigan to win it all. Doing the math, you can move up but I believe I have #1 wrapped up.  I was dead last after round 1, so not very good picking. Just lucky at the end.

That's the issue, haven't used a pass word for several years till my laptop gave me the boot couple weeks ago and I have no idea what it is

Could someone please post  standings going into the final 4?

Loyola just could fool a few more people yet. Next week is a big game for them. Time will tell.

Although I've been retired for a number of years I'm still in a pool with 80+ former coworkers. The entire left side of my bracket is shot with NC plus Virginia to win and I'm still in 10th place?   Really enjoying watching the lower seeds take out higher ones for a change, hope it continues next weekend.
