Hello fellow fishermen,

I'm looking at purchasing a Humminbird Helix 10 SI. I see that there is an optional 50 kHz transducer that allows the unit to operate at a full 1000 watts. Other than use in exceptionally deep water, would there be any benefit in using in your typical 25-70 ft lakes?

Thanks

At those depths, the standard xducer will be fine
