I just purchased a new boat with a water seperator attached to the fuel line. Is it still necessary to add a product like STABIL to the gas to eliminate moisture?   CARPIO

The water separator will only remove water particulate down to a certain size, best to still add the Sea Foam.

I believe sea foam keeps gas fresh, cleans carbs, etc, and keeps everything running better for me. Boat, Ice augers, lawn mower, cars, 4wheelers, you name it.

The point I was trying to make is why should I add ANY treatment to the gas if the seperator removes the water?    CARPIO

Seafoam does other things besides stabilize gas.. I have water separator but add seafoam to every tank of gas
