Get to lake Erie in about a month. Don't let the big waters scare you away. Lots of walleyes... troll or jig. Pm me if you want any info as to lodging, what to use.

Right now with 1/8 ounce jigs in pink or white both glow in the dark colors with fathead minnows. Wisconsin River just find a tree in the water, park next to it and cast downstream and let it bounce in the current. Prop the pole up high as you can, get the slack out of the line and watch for the slightest tip movement. Actually more times than not the line will go slack as fish picks up minnow and comes towards you. Knowing what is a bite can be the hard part at this time of year.

RIGHT NOW! The Rainy River is seeing a lot of steady action as the ice out takes place and the water clarity is sure to hold and keep up the great fishing for the Lake of the Woods area! Jigs are always successful and more often than not gold. Pink, Chartreuse, anything brightly colored really!

what: jigs all always a tradition but play with other rigs like the wolf river and cranks are goin to be good starting right now when: RIGHT NOW!!!!! and for the last 2 weeks and for the next month or two where: any river system in wisconsin (look at regs if you dont know if its open) and specifics are difforent on every river but a hint is where all the other boats are and if there not catching them move and then experiment theres no rule where the fish can be

NOW! With an 1/8oz pink or orange jig head with a chartrouse silver speckle 3" twister tail. Cast near river mouths and allow the 1/8oz jig head to fall through the water column. After the water clears up, switch to a white tail. Been pounding them with that!
