Best Reef Runner Colors

Just wondering what everyones favorite reef runner colors are? I'd have to say mine would be in order: Wonderbread, Pink Lemonade, Green Flash. I just bought a bunch of the new bare naked ones, so looking to find what works from there.

with my first season of trolling last year, the gold reefrunner caught the most walleyes for me. that was on a clear water lake.

Dark colors in dark water, white, perch, green in clear waters. I was at a weigh in last May in Port Clinton, OH. It was a Flw tourney with a question forum after the weigh in. The pros said just what I just stated... but the best info I got was troll @2.5 mph when in dirty water. The reef runners will then vibrate more. Went out the next day and boated 12 eyes in three hrs. Speed is very important.

Anybody find a color or pattern that seems to produce bigger fish? I've picked up a bunch of new RR's over the winter and can't wait to get them wet!

I use dark colors in muddy, stained water. Lighter colors when the water clears. I found out that when the water is dark, kick up your trolling speed to 2.5 mph.

starcraft, just wondering what reef runner lures get you bigger fish? Are you talking differrent sizes (200, 400, 600) or color? I'd be interested to know, never found a color that seemed to produce bigger fish than the rest, I mostly run 200's.

Interesting, I have found different color's work better at different times of year.

also the color i use to catch numbers greatly varies from the ones that catch big fish.

favorite reef runners? thats a tough one. I'll have to rethink this,.....

1) tequila lemonade

2) glass clown(aka: ruby slipper)

3) blue berry muffin

Firetiger, Perch, Hot Tamale, Blue/Chrome, Cheap Sunglasses are my favorites to run anywhere walleyes swim!
