Stevens point area

Moving to point for college this fall and was wondering if there's any good places to ppheasant hunt around the area

about 5 years ago was hunting the mead, just west of knowlton for ducks, and would see and hear pheasants. not sure about now.

Very few pheasants in Portage County. Most of the pheasants you see are introduced. The Paul J. Olson Wildlife area sometimes holds a few. And the area around the pheasant farm in Nelsonville gets constantly repopulated with escapees from the farm.
